“The Day America Cried”

The Eagle head represents all of us - our nation and what we stand for. The banner with the stars and stripes represents Americans coming together to cast our differences aside in a show of unity. The six stars represent the areas the terrorists hit, the citizens, the police and the firefighters killed. The two teardrops represent the loss of innocence and the severity of the event on September 11, 2001. Ruffled feathers symbolize the emotional devastation we felt as a country and on the opposite side of the Eagle, perfectly groomed feathers show our return, our pride, and our resolve as a great country.

To you who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.
From the Citizens of Ft. Bend and Harris County.
